A Spill of Color

Playtest Carpet was inspired by colorful toy pieces scattered across the desk of a game designer who was “playtesting” a new game. Similar to the little toy pieces flowing across a flat desk – the soft, bumpy pattern of Playtest adds volume and depth to the floor, and encourages touching, sitting, lying, playing and standing.

Exibition

By creating a rich, tactile experience, Playtest expands and redefines the usable living space of a room. And while the irregular appearance of Playtest might seem arbitrary, it is in fact a very deliberate contour. Each series of carpet modules has been carefully designed to be used in a variety of functions.

Playtest Carpets come in two basic configurations and a wide spectrum of colors. With its monochromatic palette, textured surface, and undulating outline, Playtest Carpet brings a subtly rich impact to its surrounding space.
